ADVANCED FEATURES FOR SAFE MONITORING OVER 3G

An additional 3D engine is located on the vehicle, and enables advanced features that save bandwidth. One such feature is Focus Region Streaming which enables operators to carry out full environment assessments using less than 300 kbps bandwidth.

In this example, three cameras with a total of 30 MPixel resolution are used on the vehicle. By only streaming the video in the direction the operator is looking, less than 1% of the total resolution has to be streamed over the network.

EFFICIENT VIDEO TRANSMISSION FROM AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES

We are at the beginning of our journey towards autonomous fleets. Requirements on user interfaces at the control tower will change as the market evolves.

Thanks to the powerful 3D engine with its extensive 3D editor, our software can be used as a flexible design tool for your control tower UI. The engine can capture huge amounts of video from vehicles in autonomous mode from infrastructure cameras, fleet monitoring systems and more (input via HDMI).

Operators can quickly change between different user interfaces as work tasks change, and objects in the UI can quickly be repositioned and scaled as per operator feedback.

MULTIPLE LINKS FOR SAFE REMOTE CONTROL

By allowing a flexible configuration of multiple link features our software can efficiently fight dangerous latency peaks for your specific network environment. This includes dynamic bonding (boosting bandwidth), seamless redundancy and dynamic Forward Error Correction.

Redundancy is seamless and the operator is unaffected if a link is suddenly lost. The system can handle a mix of different types of links in public networks, such as 3G, 4G/LTE and 5G.
